This video explains the Conventions of Dramatic Action - a list of conventions used in theatre (as well as film, TV, and other media) that can be used in the classroom to create engaging and meaningful activities for learning. The list was compiled by Dorothy Heathcote in her essay, 'Signs and Portents'.
